Two people, one joke

Rap Duet Video

A rap duet video puts two people who agreed into one short clip with a single generated track.

A rap duet video is for a pair who both want to be in the clip. Two hosts opening a show, two friends splitting a roast, or a couple sending one birthday from both of them. Duo on the homepage is the control that takes two photos. This page is when that control is the right idea, and when it is not.

One verse has to carry both people. Twelve seconds does not leave room for two full verses and a chorus. Write the line they say together, or a setup and a punchline. If each person needs their own song, that is two selfie jobs, not one duet. The price does not go up because there are two photos. A 12-second 480p render is still 30 credits.

Order the photos on purpose. The first face is the one the lip-sync treats as the lead. Put the person who says the punchline where you want the eye to land, and look at both previews before you spend credits. A group photo cropped twice is a bad duet. Two separate portraits with a visible mouth are the files that survive.

Both people confirm permission. A partner, a co-host, or a friend who laughed at the script counts. A stranger in the background, a classmate, or anyone who would be surprised to see their mouth moving does not. If one person opts out, the other can use Selfie, or you can describe an original character and skip the photos.

  1. 01

    Ask both people

Permission is the first step, before you export the photos.

Setup and punchline. Not two songs.

  3. 03

    Upload two portraits

Lead photo first. Check both previews, then render.

Questions

Does a rap duet video make two tracks?

No. One job makes one track and lip-syncs it to both photos.

What if only one person wants to be on camera?

Use Selfie for that person, or AI Rapper if neither face should appear.
